Flower Of The Week

30 May

This week’s flower actually isn’t a flower, it’s a greenery, but it is a very popular choice for bridal bouquets.
Dusty Miller

Dusty Miller is known by many names including; old woman, silver lace, silver dust, and dusty maiden. It is a soft greyish green color and the leaves have a velvet texture. The edges of the leaves are frilly adding to the soft feminine feel of this greenery.  As I mentioned it is a popular choice to include in wedding bouquets. The soft look of dusty miller complements a pastel color scheme very nicely.
